Welcome to CéCé, a fashion brand created and managed by me, Célia, where creativity, sustainability, and the spirit of the 90s and 2000s intertwine.
It all started during the pandemic. I got a sewing machine for Christmas, started with sewing tote bags and my love for the 90's fashion drove me to try to make fanny packs.
I bought some patterns on internet but each time I wasn't completely satisfied with the result. I started drawing, designing and soon my first fanny pack was born!
Thrift stores started to re open. As I was walking along the alleys of Emmaus, I realised that I could use old pants, dresses and tops to make my bags!
And what's best than giving clothes a second life?
Thrift stores, Vinted and garage sales were soon going to be my favourite sourcing places!
Little by little, I was selling my creations on Instagram & Makers Markets, when I finally decided to open a website!
My CéCé journey continues with my other passion for the 2000's fashion, aka Y2K 💖.
I draw and designed my own hand bags, still buying second hand clothes.
I have a very cherished collection of hand bags made from jeans & rhinestones!
So you got it, most of my work is based on second hand clothes and fabrics.
This is the reason why you will only find here limited editions & sometimes unique pieces!
I am very concerned about reducing waste and promoting a circular economy, but everything has a cost.
I am working on making my collections as affordable as I can, but each creation takes quite some time and sadly, more money than you would think.
With each purchase, you contribute to make a living out of my passion, extand my creativeness, but also support a brand committed to promoting a more ethical & eco-friendly approach to fashion. 🫶
